Yoga Classes
I offer carefully curated one-to-one and one-to-two Hatha yoga classes throughout East Lothian and Edinburgh which encourage mindful movement through postures, led by the breath to nurture healthier minds, bodies, and souls.
This is an excellent choice if you’re managing an injury, anxiety, health condition, or mobility challenge, that makes participating in group classes more difficult.
These classes are perfectly suited to those who:
struggle to find a class that aligns with their personal schedule or preference
are new to yoga and seeking a supportive introduction
feel uneasy or overwhelmed in group environments
wish to concentrate on a particular element of their practice, such as asana (posture), pranayama (breathwork), or meditation.

About Yoga
I teach Hatha Yoga – the union of the Sun (Ha) and the Moon (tha). The aim of Hatha Yoga is to still the mind through postures, pranayama and meditation. But I also find stillness of mind when working with the natural flow of the seasons and being out in nature.
I was first introduced to yoga in 1994. But it wasn’t until 2014, when I started working with a yoga teacher one to one, that my practice developed into something deeper. I began to feel the benefits of doing yoga on and off the mat, developing an innate awareness of emotions in my body. This has allowed me to manage them more effectively to create a sense of calm, both in body and mind.
In 2018, I committed to becoming a yoga teacher and signed up for Yoga Scotland’s Foundation Course (a pre requisite to their teacher training) and in 2019, their 500-hour teacher training course.
I have been advocating to change the negative narratives and stigma around mental health for the last decade through various mediums and yoga is another way for me to continue to do so.
I hope I can share the beautiful tradition of Hatha Yoga with you.
What others are saying
The day was absolutely wonderful and 10 days later I am still reaping the benefits. Looking forward to seeing you in June, if not sooner. Thank you both for a wonderful day.

Combining restorative yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy and lots of self care advice…I slowed right down and felt very restful at the end, sleeping very deeply that night!
